ADECEF plays key role in GRQ diffusion across Latin America
October 2009 - ADECEF is launching a series of global roaming workshops and trials across Latin America.
The company is taking this significant step to promote the GSMA's Global Roaming Quality Initiative. As part of the project, ADECEF will provide free IR.81 trail campaigns to regional carriers. Vivo, Oi, Tim Brasil, Ancel, Movistar Ecuador and Entel Bolivia are among the operators that have already signed up for the trails.
Earlier in the year, ADECEF's RoamFix platform was certified by the GSMA as the first IR.81 compliant tool for global roaming quality. The intiative was formally announced at the GSMA Latin America Mobile Conference in Costa Rica.
